An overview of the principles that govern the BATTLE CONTEST OF VISUAL IMPACT SYDNEY 2018!

QUALIFYING LOCAL COMPETITION

The Qualifying Local Competitions will coincide in place and time with all VISUAL IMPACT exhibitions, in Brisbane and Sydney.

The aim of the local competition is to award prizes to the best installers having installed the Hexis  films provided within the stipulated deadline, creating the predetermined shape quickly and producing the best final appearance (including finishes). The contestants shall be judged on completion speed; general appearance and the finishes.

Entry

The competition shall be free to enter. Participants may register to compete in only one local competition.

During the Qualifying round, the competition shall be open to all main exhibitors and/or visitors who’d like to participate, upon presentation of credentials. Employees of HEXIS may not enter.

The Organizer hereby reserves the right to exclude, temporarily or permanently, any entrant who might impede the smooth running of the Competition through their conduct, and any entrant failing to comply with the provisions of these rules.

Judging Guidelines

The winner shall be judged on completion speed; general appearance and the finishes.

Jury decisions shall be final and may not be appealed in order to ensure the progress of the Competition and so the results can be announced.

In the event of a tie between multiple crews, the Winner, the Second and/or the Third may be named by the drawing of lots by a member of the jury.

Competition format

Every day there are several qualification rounds. The number depends on the number of participants.
At the end of every day, there is a final.

Day’s final

The jury will rank the top 3 installers of the day.

The installer receiving the best score shall be named First in the Day Final.
The installer receiving the second best score shall be named Second in the Day  Final.
The installer receiving the third best score shall be named Third in the Day Final.

Super final

The 3 best installers from each day shall compete against one another in the Super Final of the Local Competition.

The installer receiving the best score across the different criteria shall be named Winner of the Local Competition.

The local Winner and the second finalist of each local competition will be qualified to compete in the Super Final, which shall take place in Sydney during the VISUAL IMPACT show.

Competition prizes in the Day’s Final

Prize for the First

A voucher worth $500 to be used within the Hexis catalogue (all products listed, excluding delivery costs, to be used in one single transaction)

Prize for the Second

A voucher worth $300 to be used within the Hexis catalogue (all products listed, excluding delivery costs, to be used in one single transaction)

Prize for the Third

A voucher worth $200 to be used within the Hexis catalogue (all products listed, excluding delivery costs, to be used in one single transaction)

Competition prizes in the Super Final

Prize for the First in the Super Final

A voucher worth $3000 to be used within the Hexis catalogue (all products listed, excluding delivery costs, to be used in one single transaction)

Prize for the Second in the Super Final

A voucher worth $2000 to be used within the Hexis catalogue (all products listed, excluding delivery costs, to be used in one single transaction)

Prize for the Third in the Super Final

A voucher worth $1000 to be used within the Hexis catalogue (all products listed, excluding delivery costs, to be used in one single transaction)

The Finalists of each local competition will be qualified for the Grand Final in Sydney.

THE GRAND FINAL

The selected Local Winners will then be able to take part in the Super Final.

The grand final competition shall feature 4 participants each trying to prove that they are part of the elite of best installers.

The installer receiving the best score across the different criteria shall be named First in the Grand Final and Winner of the Grand Prize.

Grand Prize for the Big Winner

One Grand Prize Winner will receive a free trip-for-one to France: 5 DAYS, visit to HEXIS head office with night in Montpellier, 2 days in Paris and return.
The travel package includes flight ticket, all transfers to and from Frontignan, hotels and meals for one person.

(*) If the winner wishes to have this partner, he/she will need to pay for his/her partner flight.

Awarding of the Prizes

All prize values in these Official Rules are in Australian dollars.
The winners shall be notified immediately when the results are announced.
This announcement will be confirmed to them by normal letter sent to the address indicated on the Competition registration form.

Acceptance and Publication of the Rules

The mere act of registering for the Competition shall imply full and unreserved acceptance of these rules filed at the head offices of HEXIS AUSTRALIA. The operating rules shall be sent free of charge to any person requesting them from the Organizer.

Use for Information and Promotional Purposes

The entrants hereby accept, unreservedly, that their surnames, first names, photos and photos of the vehicle may be used and circulated for information purposes and/or to promote this Competition and/or in visual communication on the Organizer’s behalf or by any other natural or legal person acting in its name.
This use and exploitation of their names and photos shall be free of charge and shall not give rise to any entitlement, benefit or remuneration of any kind and may be done on any internal or external communication medium for information and/or promotional purposes, as mentioned in the paragraph above.
This authorization shall be granted for the years 2018 and 2019.
In accordance with the French law on “freedom and information technology” of 6 January 1978, as amended in 2004, you have the right to view and correct the information held about you.
You may exercise this right by contacting the Organizing body.
You may also object to the processing of data held about you on legitimate grounds.

Liability

The Organizer shall in no event be liable for injury or damage caused by the use of the tools provided by him to apply HEXIS PVC Films.
The Organizer hereby reserves the ability to cancel, postpone, shorten or modify the Competition where the circumstances justify such action, or even to replace one prize with a different prize of equivalent value without any liability arising on its part as a result.
